Established in 2001 Ivy Ridge Academy is located in the heart of the “North Country” in upstate New York. We are located on 237 acres of land with over 200,000 square feet of building space. There is plenty of outdoor recreational space, well-equipped classrooms, neat dorms, computer centers, science labs, food services, and offices. We have a strict academic curriculum and structured environment. Students are supervised and their progress is monitored regularly. Here students progress at faster pace than traditional schools through our self-paced learning module system and six day week. Students are expected to achieve score of 80% and above to move on to the next module.

We inspire students to develop leadership skills and become responsible and contributing members of society. We also support parents to strengthen family unity along with students’ academic success. Due to our guidance and their achievements students develop a sense of accomplishment both academically and personally. Apart from academics, we also focus on students’ behavior and help them become responsible individuals with integrity and respect for self and others. Our students communicate on more open levels as our seminars assist students to deal positively with their issues.

Admissions and Merit System

We have year-round enrollment and our staff members consist of New York state certified teachers. To take admission in the Ivy Ridge Academy, students must be between the age group 12- 18 yrs. We follow a merit system that requires every student to earn a status according to his performance and conduct. Each status level has certain privileges and motivates students to work harder. All students are required to maintain high standards. We offer a balanced environment which includes personal development courses, recreation and individualized academic instruction, structured daily schedule, intensive seminars, and health and physical fitness programs.
